This project is the India's single largest green-field integrated automobile project with an investment of Rs. 4500 Crores and an installed annual capacity of 4,00,000 vehicles.
The 640-acre plant is situated at SIPCOT Industrial Park, Oragadam in Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.
Our Honble CM and Dy CM inaugurated the plant on March 2010 and the first car (Nissan Micra) was rolled out on May 2010.
